I want to purchase by credit/debit card. Is your site secure?

Yes! All personal information including credit and debit card details, are encrypted when making a payment.

Our credit and debit card purchases are processed by RBS Worldpay, which is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group - one of the largest financial institutions in the world.

I've tried to purchase by Credit or Debit card, and it hasn't worked. Can you tell me why?

Unfortunately, we are unable to find out why an individual card has not been accepted.

Transactions can be declined for a number of reasons including:

  • Incorrect card number/expiry date/security code details being typed in

  • The transaction being rejected by the card issuing bank

  • Too many attempts at purchasing within a specific time frame

  • Suspect fraud risk

  • A temporary communications failure between Habbo's card processor and your bank when we try to process the payment.

This list doesn't cover everything - there can be many other reasons for a transaction failing. We suggest that you try the transaction again in a few days, or use an alternative card/payment method.

If you wish to find out about alternative methods to get credits, please visit the Habbomall page.

I'm seeing charges on credit card bill. What are they?

If you have found charges for Habbo on your credit/debit card statement, then it is likely that a user of Habbo in your household has purchased Habbo Credits through that method.

You can find out more about the methods of purchasing we offer by visiting the Habbomall page.

As all transactions are initiated by the Habbo user, we are unable to offer refunds as it is up to the parent/guardian to monitor their child's online activity and spending.

Habbo cannot be responsible for the actions taken by our users. You should speak to the user in question regarding these payments and educate them about responsible spending. Should you wish for further information about the charges, or to request the account user be suspended from the service, please contact us.
