Guidelines on user created games in Habbo

We’re proud of the creative user-made games invented and played by Habbos. Games like Falling Furni, Costume Change, and Telephrase (plus many others) fill our Navigator and bring pleasure to millions of Habbos every month. Although most user-made games are harmless fun, unfortunately some games bring negative side effects.

To mitigate this, there is a limit to the number of chance elements that can function in a room (e.g. Dicemasters, Wheel of Fortune, Fortune Tellers). Placing more than three chance elements will disable all randomiser functions in the room.

For the sake of clarity, Casino Rooms as a theme are not forbidden, but placing bets by outcome of a random element is. You can, however, use dice to facilitate a game of skill (e.g. everyone who rolls a 1 or 3 is on the red team!)

What kind of games are allowed?

Skill games (pay-to-play, fast pass, reverse or entrance fees allowed)

 * The outcome of the game is mostly based on the skills of the players-

such as Melting mats, Races, Falling Furni

Randomised games

 * The outcome of the game is random

such as Don't hit the wall, Bingo, Fridge, Nervous. These games are allowed IF:

No bets are placed, which means that people play for free (no entrance fee for example)

OR

There is an entrance fee, but no winnings/prize(s) are distributed. This is fine unless it becomes evident that the game is organised to get around the rule forbidding the placing of bets.

 OR

 * There is an entrance fee, and everyone wins/receives a prize. This is fine unless it becomes evident that the game is organised to get around the rule rule forbidding the placing of bets..

Thanks so much for your support to explore the talent and creativity of the Habbo community in a different way:)
