Will any of the items the avatars are wearing be available to buy as normal items with in-game currency?
No, we don’t plan to make this possible. The new items are tied to the Habbo Avatars that wear them. We do, however, release separate clothing collectibles that can be worn, and then sold (unlike clothing in Habbo which once bound cannot be traded).
Will you release more Habbo Avatars in the future?
We haven’t decided that yet but we will reserve the right to do more avatar drops in the future. Rest assured that this first batch of avatars will be considered as the 'genesis' collection and will have the best perks when considering both future drops and in-game utilization.
Can I give my Habbo Collectibles to others in return for in-game items and currency?
No, this is not allowed. Habbos caught doing this will be sanctioned accordingly.
If I get a Habbo Avatar, what can I do with it?
Here are a selection of the benefits you get as an avatar owner:
- HC and BC membership for all of your account's avatars as long as you have a Habbo Avatar in your MetaMask wallet. Note that there are some limitations to this, for example you don’t get free HC Gifts every year from HC gained from a Genesis Habbo Avatar or a Crafted Avatar.
- The ability to use your avatar in-game. Select it from the Habbo Collectibles tab in the Looks Editor / wardrobe.
- Free, daily Emeralds to spend on a variety of things in the Habbo Collectibles ecosystem. Including clothing and furni collectibles, crafting, Crafted Avatar creation, and more.

Can I sell my Habbo Collectibles to other Habbos?
Our filter will prevent anyone from sharing website links in-game, but you can discuss selling these items in-game, yes. For example, you can say that you are selling your Habbo Avatar and give people the collection number – #11576, #546, and so on. This will help potential buyers to find your avatar on OpenSea.io.
It’s critically important that whenever you view Habbo Avatars on OpenSea.io, you always, ALWAYS check that it’s from the verified Habbo Avatars collection. There are a lot of scammers out there and some of them are very good at what they do.
Can I sell my Habbo Collectibles for real money? (Euros, dollars, etc.)
In short: no. These items are stored in your MetaMask wallet and to sell them you need to use OpenSea – this is a marketplace specifically for the trading of all sorts of NFTs. Your MetaMask wallet is what you use to sign into OpenSea; consider your MetaMask wallet as not only a wallet to store cryptocurrency, and Habbo Collectibles, but also as a kind of digital key you can use to get into your OpenSea account.
This in turn means that to sell them, you will always receive a cryptocurrency called Ethereum (ETH) to your MetaMask wallet.
We strongly, strongly advise you ALWAYS use OpenSea to both sell and buy NFTs. Never ever listen to people that say they will transfer you money if you give them your NFT. They are almost certainly trying to scam you!
